Youth Trip to Washington DC
Join us as we hit the road on our annual St. Stephen Christian Church (SSCC) Youth trip. This year, we have a 55 passenger bus heading to Washington DC on June 24-25. This will be a fun- filled 2 day trip for us to explore Washington DC and all it has to offer, so bring your comfy shoes!
Juneteenth Cookout
Join us for our annual church cookout as we will also celebrate Juneteenth. This will be a time of celebration and fellowship. We will have plenty of food, fun, and games. The cookout will be held on Saturday June 10 at Chesapeake City Park. Come on out and enjoy yourself. Invite a friend to tag along! The more the merrier! Youth Car Wash
St. Stephen Christian Church (SSCC) will be doing a Youth Car Wash Fundraiser on June 3rd from 10am- 2pm. This event will help to raise money for our Youth Programs that are aimed at creating a safe environment for children to grow and learn. We hope to provide them with mentorship and experiences that they may not have had otherwise. All donations are welcome. Youth Outing: Field Day/ Fashion Camp
On this day, our youth will take a ride up to Williamsburg and split off into two groups. One group will head outdoors for a fun day of sports and the other group will visit a fashion designer studio to learn to sew and get a first-hand look on what it looks like to become a fashion designer.
Church Yard Sale
St Stephen Christian Church (SSCC) will be hosting a community yard sale on Saturday, May 20 at 8am- 2pm. This is something you do not want to miss! There will be a huge selection of furniture, clothing, electronics, toys, games, and so much more. All proceeds will go to benefit the SSCC Youth Program. Easter Sunday
Join us Sunday, April, 11AM for our Easter Celebration. The theme comes from Proverbs 22:6; “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.“ We will have performances by our youth, gift baskets, and gift card giveaways. After the program, we will have a time of fellowship and provide a free meal for attendees.

Friends & Family Month
Allow us to introduce to you our Friends & Family Month. Our Youth ministry wants to challenge our church members to invite your friends and family to church. The church member and the Youth who invites the highest number of guests by the end of the month will receive an amazing gift basket. There will be two basket giveaways! Trust me, you won’t want to miss out!
Youth Outing: Defy Trampoline Park
First outing of the year and we are so excited for you to join us!! We are headed to DEFY trampoline park in Chesapeake, VA. St. Stephen’s youth members admission will be covered by the Youth Program, but you are more than welcome to invite friends and family that are willing to pay their own admission. Please RSVP by Sunday, February 12 so that we can ensure appropriate accommodations are made.
